Nayef Aguerd lands in England, ready to finalise West Ham United transfer in next 24 hours
West Ham United fears have been eased as Rennes defender Nayef Aguerd has arrived in England to complete his move, according to ExWHUemployee.
The reliable source has reported that the Morrocan was due to arrive and complete his medical earlier on Thursday [16 June], but didn’t land until later in the evening.
Instead, Aguerd will complete his medical on Friday [17 June], and will finalise the deal today or tomorrow at latest, but at least it could be within the next 24 hours.

Writing on the West Ham Way Patreon page late on Thursday [16 June], Ex eased everyone’s fears with the transfer set to go through imminently.
“Aguerd is in the country,” he wrote.
“He is due to finalise things tomorrow or Saturday at the very latest this is why he didn’t make it in today. With the deal still on track to be completed.
“Of course, they will still need medical results to come back positively but this is good news and not as bad as feared.”

Get in.
Wow – now we can all finally breathe.
When it came out that Aguerd had not initially arrived in England and turned up to Rush Green and the London Stadium to finalise things, you immediately thought – here we go again.
It was just a late hitch rather than a genuine attempt to delay things, and the transfer formalities should be completed today and possibly even the announcement.
If the latter of those two doesn’t come today, then all eyes will be on Saturday and a brilliant kickstart to the weekend as we get our business underway.
Moyes clearly wanted this one defensive signing and it looks as though he has got it, but it is only the start, that is something that needs to be made very clear.
Another full-back, two central midfielders and a new striker are definitely needed, so it is fair to expect much more as these next two months progress.
In other West Ham United news, the Irons have been offered the chance to sign this £12.8million goal machine after his club was relegated.
