Moyes picks out two West Ham stars for praise after Bournemouth win
West Ham United manager David Moyes has picked out two of his players for praise after Wednesday’s thumping of Bournemouth.
The Scot saw his players produce a magnificent reaction to his appointment as they strolled to a well-deserved 4-0 victory over Eddie Howe’s struggling side.
Captain Mark Noble scored a fantastic brace, while club record signing Sebastien Haller and the rejuvenated Felipe Anderson also found the back of the net.
The former was one of two men Moyes chose to heap praise on after the London Stadium victory.
“Mark was incredible today. He really was, top drawer,” he said at his post-match press conference, as per Football London.
“I thought him and Declan, a few people had said to me he’s not been playing well recently, I thought Declan was excellent. The two of them played really well. Mark Noble epitomises everything that goes on, really.”
Both Noble and Rice looked back to their best on Wednesday after indifferent seasons on the most part.
The skipper scored with both of his shots and recorded a game-high WhoScored rating of 9.16, while Rice managed five tackles and an assist.
