Minutes mooted for Danny Ings, Mohammed Kudus and Pablo Fornals in West Ham United clash v Backa Topola

West Ham trio Danny Ings, Mohammed Kudus and Pablo Fornals should all play for West Ham in their match against Backa Topola, according to journalist Alex Keble.

The Hammers host the Serbian outfit in their opening Europa League group stage game on Thursday (21 September).

Ings and Fornals have not featured much this season, and neither has Kudus, but the player only joined the club at the end of August.

“Moyes is likely to rotate for this match, with Danny Ings, Mohammed Kudus and Pablo Fornals all hoping to take their chance to impress the manager in what ought to be a routine win in Europe,” Keble wrote for the official Premier League website.

Rotation certain

West Ham have enjoyed a strong start to the new season, with the likes of Michail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen and James Ward-Prowse playing key roles so far.

Star man Lucas Paqueta and defensive duo Kurt Zouma and Nayef Aguerd, among many others, have also been central to the success in these early stages.

And now they look certain to be in for a well-earned rest against Serbian minnows Backa Topola under the lights at the London Stadium.

The match represents an important opportunity for the Hammers to set the tone for their Europa League campaign, but it should be a game in which David Moyes can afford to rest several of his first-team players.

And that should allow the manager to give minutes to the likes of Ings, Fornals, Kudus and a few others who should be jumping at the opportunity to impress their boss, regardless of the quality of the opposition.

In other West Ham news, Moyes has confirmed a start for one Hammers player in their Europa League clash against Backa Topola.
