Michael Owen predicts result of West Ham clash v Chelsea
Michael Owen expects West Ham to score against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge when the two sides meet on Sunday.
The Blues are heading into this game on the back of a 4-2 defeat against Arsenal, which Owen describes as a “real shock”, but he has backed them to pick up a 2-1 win on Sunday at Stamford Bridge.
The Hammers have managed a 1-1 draw against Burnley in their last Premier League game.

“Chelsea losing, and conceding four, was a real shock. Chelsea had been playing so well in the last few weeks, Tuchel will be wanting a big response from his side here,” said Owen to BetVictor.
“West Ham’s recent league form has been inconsistent, but that’s understandable given how many games they’ve played of late. They’ll want to put in a good performance here though before their huge European game next week.
“I can see West Ham scoring, but Chelsea getting the win. 2-1 Chelsea.”
Tough game
The games are coming thick and fast, and the Hammers must find a way to pick up a win here.
In the corresponding fixture, West Ham won 3-2 at the London Stadium, and they were flying high in the league at that time.
The Europa League journey has taken a toll on the players as the Hammers do not boast a huge squad unlike other big teams in the Premier League.
Having said that, they have to stay focused and fight for a top-six place in the league.

The Hammers are losing some of their key players for this game. The likes of Kurt Zouma and Issa Diop are out with injuries, and they are lacking depth at the back.
The decision to not sign a striker and a central defender in January could come back to haunt them.
It will be a tough game, no doubt, and it remains to be seen how Moyes shapes his team up for this London derby clash.
