Micah Richards thrilled by West Ham success of David Moyes

Micah Richards has been blown away by the success of David Moyes and West Ham United once again this week.

After big wins over Genk and Spurs at the London Stadium, the Irons only went and knocked Manchester City out of the Carabao Cup.

Richards has been left stunned by the Scotsman, insisting that no one deserves to win some silverware more this season.

Writing in his Daily Mail column this week, Richards selected Moyes as his Man of the Week, and it was fully deserved.

“The look on David Moyes’ face on Wednesday after West Ham had knocked Manchester City out on penalties was priceless and continued his team’s outstanding start to the campaign,” he wrote.

“West Ham have tried lots of things during the last 10 years in an attempt to make themselves a force but Moyes is showing himself to be the manager they have yearned for.

“He has integrated flair players with hard work and his team are entertaining to watch. If West Ham could go all the way in this competition, there would be no more deserving winner than him.”

Excellent.

We are loving the attention that Moyes is getting right now, and we can’t think of anyone who deserves it more at this moment in time.

After keeping the Irons in the Premier League and wrongly being dismissed all those years ago, he has come back and proved everyone wrong.

GSB have certainly got one thing spot on during their tenure at the club, and that is bringing Moyes back in and backing him financially – they owe him everything for this success.

Richards is right to mention silverware though, this is something that the Hammers must be targeting after so long away from the spotlight.

The Carabao Cup is a real opportunity, after knocking both Manchester clubs out, we will find out our next opponents for the quarter-finals this morning – Sunderland anyone?
