Meeting scheduled in next 48 hours as Gianluca Scamacca linked with West Ham United exit
A meeting has reportedly been scheduled over the weekend as Gianluca Scamacca wants to follow Declan Rice out of the door at West Ham.
According to Roma Giallorossa on [14 July], the Italian is open to leaving the club despite joining last summer and wants to move to Roma.
It’s understood that the Hammers’ stance over loaning him out have changed in the past few weeks and they’re looking for a transfer fee in exchange.

Big money needed
The Hammers must only consider a sale and that too if the Italian side are willing to offer big money for the striker’s services.
Scamacca may have struggled in his first season at the club but he undoubtedly is a talented player who’s only going to get better.
Nobody is the finished product at 24 and it would be naive to just write him off after a bad year in the Premier League for the Hammers.

If he desperately wants to leave, West Ham must at least recoup what they spent for him last summer and if possible, even make a profit.
There’s no denying that he’ll be among the Serie A’s best strikers if he does end up joining Roma this summer.
The Hammers need the money as they will then need to dip into the market for another striker and the good ones will not come on the cheap.
In other West Ham news, an injury expert has claimed that Moyes’ physical demands could see another star player seek a London Stadium exit this summer.
