Manchester United cool interest in Declan Rice

West Ham have been handed a huge boost in their quest to keep Declan Rice as Manchester United have reportedly pulled out of the race.

According to ESPN, the Man United scouts have been told to look for alternatives to the England international.

They do not unanimously believe that Rice can improve the team and there also are concerns over the Hammers’ valuation of the 22-year-old.

Big boost

Manchester United are a club owned by billionaires and are known for notoriously overpaying their players.

There was a good chance that they would match the Hammers’ valuation, but the fact that they’re reluctant is good news for the club.

David Moyes is a fan of the player and time and again insisted that he was not for sale in any window.

He ended up staying at the London Stadium, but his future could be away from the capital should a big offer come in for him.

That said, with one big club out of the race, the chances of West Ham keeping him for another season have increased.

Hopefully, the club will not lower their valuation as he’s undoubtedly their best player and must be kept for as long as possible.

Not only has he been impressing for his club, but has put in consistent performances time and again for his national side as well.

He would certainly improve the Man United playing eleven, but it is a good thing that they don’t believe it as he could commit his future to West Ham if no concrete offers come in for him.
