Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has joked about West Ham ace Declan Rice making a move to the Red Devils.

The left-back hinted that he is trying to convince both Rice and Harry Kane to join the Manchester club this summer.

It comes as the players are on international duty with England, with the Three Lions currently training at Manchester United’s training complex.

Shaw, Rice and Kane are all at Carrington ahead of England’s Euro 2024 qualifying match against North Macedonia on Monday (19 June).

Posting images of himself with Rice and Kane at the complex on Instagram, Shaw wrote: “Carrington tour.”

Fun times

Of course the England players are focusing on their upcoming clash with North Macedonia, having just beaten Malta 4-0 on Friday (16 June).

But there will also be a sense of fun and camaraderie around the camp, given both how a long and difficult season has just ended and also because the transfer window has just opened.

West Ham star Rice is a very wanted man, with Manchester United among the clubs seemingly showing an interest in the Hammers captain.

Kane is another player that may be among their transfer targets this summer, with Manchester United defender Shaw adding fuel to the fire with his latest social media post.

For now, however, both Kane and Rice are only temporarily staying at Carrington amid their latest adventure with Gareth Southgate’s England.

Their club futures remain up in the air, but there is a very real possibility that both will be on the move in the coming months, particularly Hammers ace Rice.
