Manchester United ace Anthony Elanga sends Said Benrahma two-word message after West Ham United win v AZ Alkmaar
Manchester United ace Anthony Elanga has sent a two-word message to West Ham star Said Benrahma following the club’s 2-1 win against AZ Alkmaar on Thursday (11 May).
The Hammers went behind in the 41st minute at the London Stadium through Tijani Reijnders’s goal, with Benrahma levelling the scores from the penalty spot in the 67th minute.
Michail Antonio then netted in the 76th minute to secure a 2-1 win for the Hammers ahead of next week’s second leg.

West Ham have a Premier League clash with Brentford up first on Sunday (14 May) before making the trip to the Netherlands on Thursday (18 May).
“One more game to go,” Benrahma posted on Instagram. “Fans you have been exceptional!”
Manchester United youngster Elanga replied: “T’es chaud,” which translates from French as “You’re hot,” in reference to Benrahma’s recent form, with the Hammers ace scoring in back-to-back matches.

European success continues
The West Ham fans haven’t had much to cheer about in the Premier League this season, with their club still involved in a relegation battle with only a few matches left to play.
But the Europa Conference League has been a different story entirely, with the competition providing a welcome respite from the club’s domestic troubles.
The London Stadium was unsurprisingly in full voice for the first leg clash given what is at stake, with the travelling fans set to generate a similar effort for the away encounter.
It’s undoubtedly the most important week in West Ham’s roller-coaster campaign, with the East London outfit able to secure their Premier League safety against the Bees, before being given the chance to land a spot in a European final shortly after.
Benrahma hasn’t exactly hit the heights expected of him since his arrival from Brentford in 2020, but he has produced many key moments lately to ensure he has the love of the majority of West Ham supporters.
