Manchester City express interest to sign West Ham attacker Jarrod Bowen
Manchester City have reportedly expressed an interest to sign West Ham attacker Jarrod Bowen, who is also wanted by Liverpool in the summer.
According to Italian media outlet Calciomercato, the two billionaire-owned clubs have prioritised securing the 25-year-old’s services.
It is also understood that he is currently in talks with the Hammers over a new contract so that would mean that his price would be inflated even further.

Tense situation
Bowen knows that if he is to take the step up in his career, he possibly has another couple of years to do it in.
Given his calibre and personality, he certainly would want to play in the Champions League and challenge for every competition he features in.
At West Ham, that is not happening and given how the club messed up in January, it may put off the likes of Bowen and even Declan Rice.
Even if they sign new deals, they would still ask for a release clause in their contract as opportunities to play for Liverpool and Man City do not come too often in players’ careers.

If the Hammers are serious, they need to prove it by shelling out more money in the transfer market.
They may not be a selling club yet, but there are fears that the current side may have peaked and things are unlikely to get any better.
While we remain hopeful, under GSB, that’s proven to be the wrong thing to do as they have constantly let down their fans.
