Manchester City and Chelsea priced out of move for West Ham ace Declan Rice
Manchester City will not be able to afford signing West Ham midfielder Declan Rice this summer, claims Claret and Hugh.
The Citizens are looking to make a move for Borussia Dortmund attacker Erling Haaland at around £130million while Chelsea are facing sanctions due to the current Russia and Ukraine situation.
Manchester United are the only team to be still in the race, but no bid or an enquiry has been tabled for him thus far.

He stays?
It does not make any sense for Rice to leave the London Stadium for Manchester United.
The Red Devils are not even guaranteed Champions League football and it’s been years since they realistically challenged for the Premier League.
One could understand why Chelsea or Man City would be looked at good options for Rice.
The 23-year-old may well just stay on for another season and strengthen his goodwill with the Hammers fans.

Ideally, he could wait for next summer and maybe move to the Etihad Stadium as he would arguably play for the best team in the world.
The next few months are key and it remains to be seen if Manchester United can tempt him with a lucrative salary and also match West Ham’s asking rate.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers have scouted a £20m-rated ‘Dangerous’ British striker and want to seal a permanent move this summer.
