Lopetegui seriously considers Todibo move at West Ham after bust-up

Julen Lopetegui is seriously considering drafting Jean-Clair Todibo back into the West Ham starting XI when they face Bournemouth Monday, according to GIVEMESPORT.

Todibo had a bust-up with Lopetegui at half-time in the 5-2 loss to Arsenal on 30 November [ExWHUEmployee] and had to settle for a place on the bench in the 2-1 win against Wolves this Monday [9 December] after missing the trip to Leicester through injury.

However, the outlet reported via their website [11 December] that he could reclaim his place in the Irons lineup on 16 December after making efforts to rebuild the relationship with the head coach.

Lopetegui seriously considers Todibo move at West Ham after bust-up

The two-time France international has not seen “eye-to-eye” with Lopetegui since arriving at the London Stadium in the summer, thus raising doubts over his future.

Todibo, though, is trying to settle his differences with the Spanish tactician as he is “desperate” to return to the starting lineup.

Lopetegui, for his part, is also prepared to put things behind him and is giving serious thought to naming the 24-year-old in his lineup to face Bournemouth.

This comes after the Hammers hierarchy pointed out the need to maintain high spirits in the dressing room to him.

The former Sevilla boss bought himself some time after leading the East London outfit to a victory over Wolves, but is aware that the jury is still out on him.

He has been warned that falling out with more players could cost him his job at the London Stadium.

Apart from Todibo, Mohammed Kudus and Niclas Fullkrug could reportedly seek an exit if Lopetegui remains at the helm and it remains to be seen if he can change their minds now.
