Kurt Zouma undergoing West Ham medical ahead of move from Chelsea

Kurt Zouma is reportedly undergoing a West Ham medical and is expected to complete a move from Chelsea soon.

According to Telefoot reporter Julien Maynard, there has been an agreement to sign the 26-year-old and he is in Paris to undergo a routine medical, per Jack Rosser.

The transfer seemed like it was off for a couple of hours on Wednesday, but the Hammers accelerated their pursuit and are on the cusp of securing the France international’s services.

Via his personal Twitter account, Maynard said, “Deal finally OK between Chelsea and West Ham for the transfer of Kurt Zouma.

“Medical examination in progress.”

Get this done

The Hammers have moved swiftly over the last few hours and have finally got the green signal from all sides to go ahead with the medical.

Zouma is in Paris for a medical so he will be doing his medical there, which has been the reason why stories are being broken by French journalists.

There is no indication as to when the player will fly back to London and he could have to quarantine if he is not double jabbed.

West Ham

That said, David Moyes will be absolutely delighted by the news that the club have finally agreed a deal to sign a player who would strengthen the first team.

Fans will be hoping that their summer activity does not end here and a striker along with Jesse Lingard could be on their way to the club as well.

It remains to be seen who else West Ham manage to sign from now until the end of the window.
