Kurt Zouma open to joining West Ham as club table £25million bid

West Ham United have tabled a £25million bid for Chelsea centre-back Kurt Zouma in a bid to strengthen their defence, according to L’Equipe.

However, the offer is not convincing enough for the Blues, and talks are ongoing between both parties.

Chelsea have also offered the 26-year-old France international to Sevilla as a makeweight to land Jules Kounde, but the option of joining West Ham is more tempting for Zouma.

Hope?

This is one transfer news that has continued to develop over the last couple of weeks, and we do not expect that to end anytime soon.

The Frenchman is not going to play regularly at Stamford Bridge this season if he stays, and that will hurt his chances of playing at the World Cup next summer.

At West Ham, Zouma is going to walk into David Moyes’ starting XI, and in order for a move to get done, he needs to be willing to make some sacrifices in terms of wage demands for the sake of his career.

Chelsea legend John Terry dubbed him a “beast of a player” and an “unbelievable pro and a great professional” during an Instagram Live six months ago [Tribuna], and we all know what we will be getting with such a player in our ranks.

West Ham bidding £25million, if true, is a great move, and Chelsea should be snatching our hands off for a deal with just two years left on his current deal.

In other West Ham news, Hammers made last-ditch attempt to complete major striker signing.
