Kurt Zouma does not fancy Sevilla move, West Ham to hold talks with three players today

Kurt Zouma has reportedly informed Marina Granovskaia that he does not fancy a move to Sevilla amid interest from West Ham.

According to ExWHUEmployee on his Patreon page, the Frenchman has informed the Chelsea director about his intentions of not moving to Spain and instead preferring to stay in London to West Ham.

The club are believed to continue talks with him today (Friday) along with two other centre-backs, according to the reliable West Ham insider source.

Making moves

It’s always good practice to be in talks with two or three different transfer targets before narrowing in on a particular player.

Ex has mentioned two other centre-backs without naming them, but it seems like Zouma is our preferred option and now that he is not fancying a move to Sevilla, we should have a clear run at securing his services this summer.

The Frenchman is someone who will be an instant upgrade to our defensive options and will give us much-needed superiority in both boxes.

We’ve tended to score a number of goals from set pieces and Zouma could be seen as one of our target men especially if we fail to sign a towering striker this summer.

Zouma featured extensively under Frank Lampard and played a fair share of games in the first third of Chelsea’s campaign last season.

However, Thomas Tuchel is not understood to be the biggest fan and is happy to see the club cashing in on him this summer.

Last season, was his best in terms of scoring goals as he bagged five which is as much as he’s scored in his previous four years at Chelsea.

We’re sure that at West Ham, his numbers will only skyrocket and hopefully the club can get this signing over the line as it’s going to increase our chances of finishing in the top six for the second year in a row.
