Kurt Zouma could feature for West Ham v Crystal Palace

West Ham United are confident of completing the major signing of Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma this week, according to the Sun.

The newspaper have reported on their website that David Moyes is confident that the Frenchman could even feature against Crystal Palace.

It is suggested it will cost up to £25million, with the Irons finally closing in on their priority move during this window.

West Ham have been haggling with Zouma over his wages for over a month now, and the end is finally in sight.

The Frenchman is set to sign a five-year deal and become one of the highest-paid players at the London Stadium.

Should that be concluded as soon as possible, there is every chance he could get registered in time to face Palace.

Amazing.

The scenes at the London Stadium were incredible last night as we demolished Leicester, and it would have no doubt impressed Zouma.

We are expecting some of the same as we face Crystal Palace on Saturday, and our potential new signing will surely be wanting to be involved in that.

Moyes is getting his priority signing through the door, and on a long-term contract, something that will leave everyone delighted.

Having Zouma could see us revert back to the five-at-the-back system we used frequently last season, but that may be a mistake.

The Irons have been sensational so far this season, and there is no need to change a winning formula as of yet, so maybe Craig Dawson will be the one to drop out.

Time will tell, lets get this deal done immediately.
