Kurt Zouma completes West Ham medical

Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has completed his West Ham medical and has agreed on personal terms with the club, per Fabrizio Romano.

The 26-year-old is closing in on a move to the London Stadium and the Hammers only have to agree on fees with the agents involved in the deal.

The two London clubs are in contact to finalise the smaller details of the transfer for the France international as soon as possible.

Via his personal Twitter account, the Sky Sports Italy journalist said, “Chelsea and West Ham are in direct contact to prepare Kurt Zouma paperwork as soon as possible.

“Personal terms and medical completed today morning – agents details to be agreed soon.”

Finally

After countless delays in getting this one over the line, the Irons finally appear to have made a significant breakthrough with the player completing his medical.

Moves have fallen through even at this late stage, but there appears to be a willingness from all parties to get this deal done.

Zouma would be a terrific signing for the Hammers and would be an upgrade on their current crop of centre-backs.

West Ham

He would not only walk into David Moyes’ playing eleven, but also improve the players around him.

At 26, he is close to his prime and should he remain injury-free, could be a first-choice at the club for the foreseeable future.

His arrival instantly makes the London club more devastating on set pieces and we cannot wait to see him in action.
