Kaveh Solhekol: West Ham United will not sell Declan Rice this summer despite fresh contract saga
Kaveh Solhekol has insisted that West Ham United will not sell Declan Rice this summer regardless of his contract drama.
The England international has rejected yet another contract offer at the London Stadium, with rival clubs now on red alert.
Solhekol shared there is no pressure on the Irons, who have the option to extend his current deal by a year before considering his future.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Solhekol shared the latest on the future of the England international.
“West Ham will not sell Declan Rice this summer even if he doesn’t sign a new contract,” he wrote.
“They’re under no pressure to sell. They have option to extend his contract by one year to 2025. If he doesn’t sign a new deal they would listen to big offers in the summer of 2023.”
Sad end.
This is all coming to a sad end, and we all have to prepare for an exit sooner rather than later.
Whether it happens this summer or next summer, Rice is going to be leaving for another club in the Premier League.
It is a big gamble to let this drag on until 2023.
The Hammers could easily bank £150million this summer, but if this is dragged on until 2023, that value could come tumbling down and we would regret it all.
One big turning point could be winning the Europa League and qualifying for the Champions League next season – could that tempt Rice to stay?
The only thing that is guaranteed is that there are many twists and turns to come, although we doubt that we are going to like many of them.
Rice looks to have his mind set on leaving, but all we ask is he continues to push us forward to the best possible position before moving on.
