Karren Brady raves about Declan Rice after England win over Germany

England secured a 2-0 win over Germany in the last-16 of Euro 2020 yesterday, with West Ham United ace Declan Rice playing a starring role.

It was the youngster’s fourth start in as many games for the Three Lions at the tournament, and he justified his selection, putting in an impressive shift against a star-studded German side.

Hammers vice-chairman Karren Brady was impressed with Rice’s performance, and has taken to her personal Twitter account to react.

Top top player

Despite being 22, the West Ham midfielder bossed the midfield alongside Leeds United’s Kalvin Phillips, keeping his cool following an early booking.

Rice showed exactly why Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are all keen on him this summer, and has been in fine form for his country throughout the tournament.

While no bids have come in yet for the West Ham academy graduate [], we expect that to start happening once the European Championship ends.

Could Rice be looking to leave the London Stadium this summer?

That looks unlikely, but it would not stop the bigwigs from trying.

West Ham

We surely cannot afford to lose one of our most influential players, and hopefully, Brady, David Gold and David Sullivan will provide manager David Moyes with the needed transfer funds in the coming weeks.

Rice needs to be convinced that the Hammers can match his ambitions, and while it is impressive, playing Europa League football is not enough to keep such a top player.

In other West Ham news, striker’s agent has arrived in England for transfer talks amid Hammers speculation.
