Jurgen Klopp verdict emerges as West Ham United draw v Liverpool
Chris Sutton admits he’s “really sad” at the disappointing end to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool career after the Reds drew 2-2 with West Ham at the London Stadium.
Michail Antonio’s equaliser to secure a point for the Hammers all but called an end to Liverpool’s title hopes and piled on the misery after their poor form in recent weeks.
The game also featured a controversial moment as Klopp appeared to argue with Mohamed Salah on the sidelines which Jamie Carragher insisted would have come from the boss’ frustration.

With both Arsenal and Manchester City set to play on 28 April, Liverpool could find themselves five points adrift of top spot and four away from second by the end of the day, rubbing further salt into their wounds after West Ham secured a draw.
Antonio’s headed goal was hailed as “brilliant” by Sue Smith on Sky Sports as the latest blow to the Reds’ ambition was dealt, securing what has to be seen as an impressive point for the Hammers at the London Stadium as well.
Frustrations at Liverpool are sky-high as things stand, with an awful run of form during which they have taken just eight points from a possible 18 costing them their position in the title race as Arsenal and Manchester City continue to battle.
West Ham are enduring their own managerial situation as things stand with uncertainty over David Moyes’ future, with the likes of Ruben Amorim and Julen Lopetegui linked as it looks like being a turbulent summer for several clubs.
