Journalist: Second West Ham friendly arranged as QPR clash to take place on Wednesday
West Ham United will face Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday as they step up their preparations for the Premier League restart.
Football London journalist Sam Inkersole has confirmed that the Hammers could then go up against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Inkersole did admit that the Irons are keeping very tight-lipped about their preparations before their first game back against Wolves.
The Hammers have already completed an intra-squad friendly at the London Stadium, as they look to climatise to football behind-closed-doors.
There are strict measures in place during friendlies, with sides not able to play teams further than 90 minutes away.
As well as this, players will travel too and from games in their own vehicles with club staff from each side expected to officiate the friendlies.
It was reported that teams are able to face clubs from the same division as long as they have already played both their fixtures against them this season.
Playing Palace on Saturday will be the perfect warm-up game, as they will be playing stiff competition as they look to stay in the Premier League.
The Hammers are currently only out of the relegation zone on goal difference, and with tough games coming up, David Moyes will need to have his squad at the top of their game
