Jesse Lingard is expected to make a decision on his next move when returning from holiday as West Ham United want a deal, according to Claret and Hugh.
The online source have reported that Spurs are also in the race, with numerous clubs interested while the England international stays in the same hotel as Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar in Miami.
West Ham are said to be confident that they are near the front of the queue for a deal given his success on loan at the London Stadium in the 2019-20 season.
This is one of those transfer sagas that appears to be neverending.
Lingard jetted out to the United States on Monday [06 June] so he won’t be expected back in England immediately as he gets closer to a decision.
West Ham and David Moyes have tried numerous times to make the England international sign a permanent contract at the London Stadium, but it has never happened.

It is said that Lingard enjoyed his time so much while on loan is why West Ham are confident regarding this decision that is surely now set to be imminent.
The playmaker has been wasting his own career over the past year, especially in the 2021-22 season as he made little to no impact at Old Trafford under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick.
Moyes has to make one last big push to Lingard or his representation, and get this one across the line so we can all move on with Lingard in the squad and ready to go.
The likes of Declan Rice will want to see ambition by the club with their own futures on the line, and beating clubs such as Spurs to these big-name players will only help.
Of course, Lingard sunning it up in the same hotel as Neymar will be much needed, but it is time to stop all of that and make his mind up – will it be West Ham?
