Jean-Clair Todibo sends Mohamadou Kante message after West Ham scenes vs Burton Albion
Mohamadou Kante was one of several West Ham youngsters drafted in for the 1-0 FA Cup win over Burton Albion.
Kante, Ezra Mayers and Ollie Scarles were the three academy graduates trusted with starting berths for the clash with the League One outfit.
The Hammers eventually came out on top at the Pirelli Stadium on 14 February, with Crysencio Summerville’s strike the difference between the sides.
Nuno Espirito Santo has given Kante three chances in the Premier League so far, for a total of 16 minutes, but it was his first start for the club, and Jean-Clair Todibo clearly loved his showing.
What did Todibo say to Kante after West Ham win vs Burton?
Kante took to social media to share his feelings with the London Stadium supporters after his first start for the Irons.
He posted on Instagram on 14 February with a simple message to the fans, saying: “To be continued.”
Todibo commented on the post with a one-word message, saying “booster” with a fire emoji.
Mayers also commented with two heart emojis, and Airidas Golambeckis reacted with two fire emojis.
How did Kante perform on first West Ham start?
Kante put in an impressive performance that justified his selection by Nuno Espirito Santo.
He completed 88 per cent of the 50 passes that he attempted, and made three passes into the final third, per Sofascore.

Defensively, he made five tackles, which was the most in the contest, four clearances, three recoveries and one interception.
He also won six of the 10 ground duels that he contested for a 60 per cent success rate, and two of the four in the air for a 50 per cent ratio.
Nuno will surely be keeping a close eye on Kante’s performances in the academy, and it would not be a surprise if he was called up for the first team in the near future to do a job.
The near £180,000 that the E20 outfit paid Paris FC for his services may look like a bargain in the near future, if he can continue in this vein of form, and make a constant impression amongst the senior side.
He is clearly on the right track with the rest of the Hammers squad, given Todibo’s reaction to his showing.
