Jason Cundy brutally shuts down West Ham United fan live on talkSPORT as Declan Rice verdict shared
Jason Cundy brutally shut down one West Ham supporter live on talkSPORT regarding the future of Declan Rice.
The Hammers ace has long been linked with a move away from East London, with pundit Frank McAvennie believing a deal has already been done that will see the midfielder leave this summer.
But one fan of the club has suggested that Rice could stay at West Ham if they win the Europa Conference League.
“Every day you look at your phone and see ‘Declan Rice is going here, Declan Rice is going there’,” one West Ham fan said live on talkSPORT.
“He deserves to be playing Champions League football, but if we win that trophy and get Europa again, is there a chance he might stay?”
Cundy replied: “No, it’s not happening.”

Highly unlikely
While stranger things have happened in football, it is highly unlikely that Rice will still be at West Ham next season.
The midfielder has proven time and again that he is destined for bigger and better things, with the England international more than capable of playing for a top Champions League club.
The Hammers could be playing in the Europa League next season, but that doesn’t look like being enough to convince their star man to stay.
One certainty though is that Rice could enjoy a very fitting end to his Hammers career by lifting the Europa Conference League trophy in Prague next month, with silverware the least he deserves for his constant standout performances in claret and blue.
West Ham will, of course, miss their captain fantastic for many reasons, with those calling the shots behind the scenes perhaps already scouting heavily for his replacement.
Rice really has carried many of his teammates for several years now, and even though he would be moving from a smaller Premier League club to a much bigger side, the transfer really doesn’t seem like it would phase him at all.
