Jarrod Bowen will not be leaving West Ham United this summer amid links away

West Ham ace Jarrod Bowen will not be moving to Arsenal over the summer despite major recent reports, according to Claret & Hugh.

The wingers’ scintillating form this season has not only seen him earn his England debut ahead of the 2022 Qatar World Cup but it has also pricked the attention of a lot of potential suitors.

The Beautiful Game podcast reported [11 June] that the Gunners have opened talks with the attackers’ representatives over a potential move to north London this summer.

There has previously been interest from Liverpool [Football Insider, 13 January] and Tottenham [Claret & Hugh, 30 May] for the 25-year-old’s signature too.

With David Moyes’ squad already wearing quite thin, there is absolutely no chance of the former Hull City man leaving the London Stadium ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.

Pray to god.

With another key man Declan Rice’s future facing a lot of uncertainty at the club it is absolutely imperative that the Irons keep hold of every important player they can and Bowen certainly comes under that bracket.

West Ham

The Hammers wouldn’t have been half the team they were without the forward in the 2021/22 campaign – he was white-hot.

It is no surprise that a host of elite clubs are now in for him and Gareth Southgate finally called him up for the national team because he was the best attacker – other than maybe Mo Salah – in the country by a mile.

His numbers speak for themselves and they are simply too good for West Ham to let him go.

Hopefully, Claret & Hugh’s insider is bang on the money because Moyes will be desperate to keep as many of his key players at the club whilst making key additions to the squad ahead of the 2022/23 season.
