Jarrod Bowen new contract on the cards at West Ham United, £120,000-a-week deal mooted
West Ham United will look to reward Europa Conference League match-winner Jarrod Bowen with a bumper new deal, according to the Daily Mail.
The Hammers fan-favourite wrote himself in West Ham folklore after his dramatic winner in their 2-1 win over Fiorentina in the Euro showpiece [7 June], claiming their first major honour in 43 years.
According to club source ExWHUemployee [5 June], the Hammers were initially planning to open talks with the forward over a new contract after the final and according to the Daily Mail [9 June], Bowen wishes to stay at the London Stadium after Wednesday’s success.

The report reveals that Bowen can expect to double his £60,000-a-week wages with West Ham United happy with his progress over the last few campaigns.
Well deserved
From the moment Lucas Paqueta played Bowen through with a sublime through ball, you just knew that former Hereford and Hull City man would write himself in the West Ham United history books.
It was a deserved triumph from Moyes and his men as they rode all the waves of pressure from an expansive Fiorentina side and took all their chances presented to them, despite being on the back foot for large parts of the game.

Bowen has become such a decisive component for Moyes and West Ham United over the last few years and that finish on Wednesday was certainly fitting of the quality and importance he possess in East London.
It is absolutely imperative West Ham United secure his immediate future with the potential departure of Declan Rice potentially leaving a gaping hole in the team, which will need filling of some sort.
Tying down Bowen to a new deal is much deserved after another hugely influential campaign, despite the club’s domestic troubles in the Premier League. In order for the Hammers to build their new dynasty post-Rice, keeping Bowen is central to anything success they achieve from here on in.
