Jarrod Bowen hits back at West Ham United fan on Instagram after X-rated accusation on Saturday
Jarrod Bowen has hit back at a West Ham fan on Instagram after an x-rated accusation was made against him due to his celebration.
The England winger scored twice as the Hammers earned a 2-0 win against the Toffees on Saturday (21 January) in the Premier League. His “finger-to-the-lip celebration” appeared to have caused a stir as one fan felt that Bowen was pointing it out to fans who have criticized him for being poor.
Bowen clarified that he was pointing it out to someone else who said certain things about him and his girlfriend regarding the news of their baby, and hits back at the fan by saying – “don’t be so silly”.

“What exactly you trying to say with the finger to the lip celebration mate? You trying to suggest you’ve been given stick unjustly and we’ve been in the wrong? You’ve been [expletive] this season, about time you got your act together,” wrote a fan.
“It wasn’t to our fans don’t be so silly. It was to a select few people who had certain things about mine and girlfriend’s baby news,” said Bowen on Instagram.
Old Bowen, please!
For the first time this season, we got a glimpse of old Bowen, and let’s hope he can regain his best form quickly.
The 26-year-old has been one of the club’s most consistent players in the past two seasons, but his loss of form left everyone worried.
In fact, Bowen’s drop in form has coincided with West Ham’s poor run of form this season.
David Moyes will hope that his side can now turn it around after securing a 2-0 victory against the Toffees on Saturday.

The Hammers boss is under tremendous pressure to keep his job safe, but the club have kept immense faith in him.
In fact, they have helped him once again in the transfer window, as the Hammers signed Danny Ings from Aston Villa.
Scoring goals have been a major problem for the club, but if Bowen can get back to his old best, the Hammers will recover in no time.
