Jamie O'Hara has destroyed West Ham United after their "Absolute stinker" in the 3-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

Julen Lopetegui crashed to a fifth Premier League defeat of the season on Saturday 2 November, with Edson Alvarez sent off to make matters worse.

O'Hara called for West Ham fans to vent their frustrations as goals from Chris Wood, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ola Aina eased the home side to three points.

Speaking live on talkSPORT [2 November, 17:48], he said: "West Ham United fans, we want to hear from you. Your team and your manager have had an absolute stinker.

"Nowhere near good enough, 11 points. Pumped again today by Nottingham Forest. Miles off it."

Where do West Ham United go from here?

Some Hammers fans will have approached the encounter up the M1 with optimism, following the drama of their win over Man United which spelled the end for Erik ten Hag.

As it turned out, it was on par with - if not worse than - the capitulation at Tottenham on 19 October, which also ended with Lopetegui having lost a man to a red card.

Alvarez received his second dismissal in all competitions this season which rules him out against Everton, who handed Southampton their first victory of the league season.

Lopetegui will be unsure of his next steps. It is clear he doesn't know his best team, and how David Sullivan and Tim Steidten feel about the results is a thought the Spaniard will be pushing to the back of his mind.

The Everton game provides ample opportunity, but there is little faith at present among the Irons faithful that they can even get the job done against a side that may just become close rivals this season.
