West Ham United: Jamie O’Hara left in disbelief at Sam Allardyce suggestion live on talkSPORT
Jamie O’Hara laughed off a caller live on talkSPORT who suggested West Ham should reappoint Sam Allardyce or Alan Pardew.
The so-called supporter said West Ham “should bring back someone like Pardew or Allardyce” after growing tired of David Moyes in the dugout.
Moyes is due to be out of contract at the end of the season, but he has been offered a new deal that he has yet to make a decision on.
Responding to the caller on talkSPORT [2 April, 11:31pm], O’Hara said: “You’re not a West Ham fan are you?
“Where do you want us to go with that? Allardyce and Pardew? Come on, you’re on a wind-up. I can’t take that seriously.”
Who will replace David Moyes at West Ham?
Whether or not this was a genuine Hammers fan remains to be seen. But surely nobody wants to see Allardyce or Pardew back in the dugout?
Those days are in the past and the Hammers are instead looking for a big name to come on board should Moyes depart.
The whole topic of the Scotsman’s future has become tiresome, but it will not go away as long as the contract remains unsigned.
If Moyes does depart – and it really does look as though it could go either way – the club need to be ambitious with the next appointment.

You would like to imagine that those high up at London Stadium are already lining up some possible candidates.
That is no disrespect to Moyes, but the Irons cannot afford to be caught cold if he does decide he is leaving.
Until a decision is made one way or another, this speculation will not go away.
