West Ham United star Michail Antonio is in a stable condition
West Ham are preparing to face Wolves in a crucial Premier League clash on Monday [9 December] but all thoughts and prayers will be with Antonio.
The forward has been a mainstay in East London throughout his nine years with the Hammers and is a beloved figure at the London Stadium.
It is times like these when football stops, and all rivalries are thrown out of the window, and everyone will be relieved to hear Antonio is communicating well.
While the Hammers faithful will be eagerly awaiting further updates on his condition, it is wise to remember that West Ham has asked for all to respect Antonio’s privacy at this time.
Hopefully, more good news continues to follow as the Jamaican international continues his recovery after what was a scary incident, with everyone sending their best wishes throughout the afternoon.
They will continue, no doubt, as the Premier League continues in the coming days.
