West Ham United vs Arsenal scoreline predicted by Jamie Carragher for Sky Sports
Jamie Carragher has predicted Arsenal will pick up a “big win” when they take on West Ham in this coming weekend’s Premier League clash.
The Irons welcome Arsenal to London Stadium on Sunday (11 February) looking to recover from last week’s loss to Manchester United.
West Ham have already defeated the Gunners twice this season – once in the Premier League in December and once in the Carabao Cup.
Despite that, Carragher can see Arsenal coming out on top in this third encounter of the campaign.
Predicting a 2-1 away win for Sky Sports Super 6, Carragher added: “Arsenal are closing in on the top and they will continue to close that gap this weekend with a big win over London rivals West Ham.”
West Ham’s head-to-head record with Arsenal
Arsenal have not beaten West Ham in any competition since December 2022. Three games have been played since then, with two wins for the Hammers and one draw.
The Carabao Cup victory earlier in the season was a special night at London Stadium as United raced three goals ahead in an hour in an eventual 3-1 win.

The more recent encounter in North London was more of a smash-and-grab, but it felt just as special. Tomas Soucek and Konstantinos Mavropanos were the scorers that night in a 2-0 win.
United clearly have Arsenal’s number and there is no reason why they cannot make it a perfect three wins from three this weekend.
This year has got off to a slow start for the Irons, but this seems like the ideal fixture to snap this winless run and get back on track.
In other West Ham news, Fabrizio Romano has shared an update on a player that the Irons were looking to sign in the January window and could yet move for.
