Jakub Kiwior says no to West Ham United as bid fired in recent hours
Spezia defender Jakub Kiwior has said no to GSBK as West Ham United fired a bid for his transfer on Friday (13 August), according to Santi Aouna.
The Foot Mercato journalist has shared that the Polish international would rather stay at his current club to guarantee playing time before the World Cup.
Gianluca Di Marzio earlier reported that the Irons had fired a £10million bid for Kiwior as they look to solve their defensive crisis at the London Stadium.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Aouna shared the latest on the transfer which may not happen at all, never mind just this summer now.
“Info: Jakub Kiwior says no to West Ham,” he wrote.
“With the approach of the World Cup, the defender of Spezia still wants to stay at least one season in his club, where he will be guaranteed to.”
Got to be kidding us.
This is a serious lack of ambition from Kiwior.
West Ham United offer the chance of regular minutes in the Premier League and to play in Europe each week, yet he would rather stay and struggle in Italy.
Spezia aren’t exactly going to be winning every week, and he could have followed in the footsteps of Gianluca Scamacca in leaving Italy behind and picking up a big payrise in the same move.
Instead, he will struggle away with the goal of the World Cup, something that would become more likely against stiffer competition with each game.
Surely, he could have asked Lukasz Fabianski about life at the London Stadium, somewhere the keeper has shined for both club and country since moving there.
GSBK now need to go back to the drawing board along with David Moyes and Rob Newman, with defensive reinforcements desperately needed, and quickly as this crisis gets worst.
