Jack Collison linked with West Ham academy manager berth – ExWHUemployee
Former West Ham midfielder Jack Collison is linked with a return to London Stadium according to reliable insider ExWHUemployee.
Ricky Martin has left his position at the club and he’s set to join Stoke and Mark Noble is going to play a key role in finding his replacement at the club.
Collison is a good friend of Noble so he could be in the running to return to the club he made 74 Premier League appearances for.

Ex wrote, “His replacement is not yet known but there are many former players such as Jack Collison, Kevin Keen, Kenny Brown Jnr and Steve Potts who would be great candidates.
“Mark Noble is meant to be heavily involved in the recruitment of the new man. Which could suggest former team mates and friend Jack Collison could be in the running. Although Mark maintains a good relationship with all.”
Could work
Having ex players at the club will certainly be a good thing, especially if they’re at the academy level.
Players at that age look up to names they grew up watching and that could spur them on to make an impression.
Noble is undoubtedly trusted by the hierarchy and he’s shown that he’s keen on transforming things behind the scenes.
They will entrust his vision as he’s a leader and will only want the right thing for West Ham Football Club.
We’re expecting progress on this in the coming days and weeks as it’s an important position for the juniors and hopefully, it’s done soon.
It’s understood that Martin resigned almost two weeks ago so it will be very surprising if the club have already not started the process of bringing in a replacement.
