‘I’ve spoken to injured West Ham star, this is how long he’s out for’ – ExWHUEmployee
West Ham are struggling to build momentum in the Premier League this season.
Nuno Espirito Santo was hired by West Ham on 27 September following the sacking of Graham Potter, with the Hammers currently sat 19th in the table.
Nuno has gained one point from his first two matches in charge, with trips to Everton and Arsenal allowing him to assess his squad ahead of an easier run of games after the international break.
West Ham will need all of their players fit if they are to climb up the Premier League table, and one star could make a return much sooner than expected.

George Earthy could return to action in four weeks
Talented youngster George Earthy received an injury setback on 30 September, after reports emerged that he sustained a hamstring injury.
This took place during Nuno’s first training session, having just returned from a previous ankle injury he sustained in August.
West Ham insider ExWHUemployee delivered an update on Earthy’s condition, with the 21-year-old expected to return to full fitness in four weeks time.
He said: “I am pleased to say that the injury to Earthy isn’t as bad as first feared. It’s believed he could be back in action in the next four weeks, although its seen as four to six weeks at this stage until the club can be more confident.
“I have spoken with the player and he’s in a positive frame of mind and really excited to be back playing under the new boss.“
Earthy was initially expected to be out for 10 weeks, yet the update brings some much-needed joy for West Ham fans who are eager to see the exciting prospect back in action.

The 21-year-old has a bright future ahead of him, yet these consistent injury issues are worrying for such a young player.

West Ham must renew George Earthy’s contract
Earthy’s contract expires in June 2026, and West Ham will be looking to tie him down to a long-term deal immediately.
The 21-year-old can play on the left wing yet has traditionally been used as an attacking midfielder behind the lone striker.
Last season saw his development skyrocket to another level, with his loan spell at Bristol City proving to be a huge success.
- In 2023-24, Earthy registered 25 goal contributions on 32 games for the West Ham Academy team
- Earthy scored his first Premier League goal against Luton in May 2024
- He spent last season on loan at Bristol City, where he helped them reach the playoffs by making 40 appearances
Nuno has showcased his desire to utilise the young players in the squad, and Earthy’s return could see him get some Premier League minutes in the bank.
Alongside Ollie Scarles, Earthy is emerging as another brilliant player to make a smooth transition from the West Ham youth setup to the first team, and supporters should be excited that his return to action will come sooner than expected.
