Injury expert shares Tottenham fitness update ahead of West Ham United clash

Tottenham are set to be without four first-team players for their Premier League fixture against West Ham United on Sunday, according to injury expert Ben Dinnery.

Antonio Conte received a major blow after Rodrigo Bentancur was ruled out for the remainder of the season with a serious knee injury.

According to Dinnery (Premier Injuries website), Ryan Sessegnon and Hugo Lloris are not expected to return until the start of April. Summer-signing, Yves Bissouma is also out of action after undergoing surgery on an ankle issue.

Points on the board

West Ham’s recent performances have certainly improved and there are signs that this group of players will be able to drag themselves away from the relegation zone. However, the sad reality is that they’re dangerously close to the bottom three and need to put some points on the board quickly.

There’s certainly an opportunity against Spurs. Conte’s side have injuries to contend with and are coming off of a dreadful performance against Leicester City. The Irons have had previous success at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and will be looking to repeat the trick on Sunday (19 February).

West Ham United

The Irons are currently facing a tough time with injuries themselves and could well be without Lucas Paqueta, who suffered a shoulder injury in the weekend draw with Chelse at the London Stadium.

David Moyes will be desperate for the Brazilian to feature in North London, particularly with Leeds and Everton playing each other on Saturday. There’s a golden chance for West Ham to put some distance between themselves and the bottom three.
