Injury Expert shares early Tottenham Hotspur team news v West Ham United

Tottenham are set to be without nine first-team players for their Premier League clash against West Ham United on Thursday 7 December, according to injury expert Ben Dinnery.

The injury expert shared the data on his website and has listed the players that will not be available and are “ruled out”, for Thursday’s clash at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

Ivan Perisic, Rodrigo Bentancur, Micky van de Ven, James Maddison, Ryan Sessegnon, Manor Solomon and Alfie Malik Whiteman are all “ruled out” for Thursday. Midfielder Pape Matar Sarr is a doubt at 25% along with senior defender Eric Dier.

Defender Cristian Romero has been suspended for the last three games after picking up a red card in the enthralling derby draw against Chelsea but is expected to be available against the Hammers on Thursday.

Dangerous test

West Ham United may well have cause to take a peek at Tottenham’s injury list and think they’d be in with a chance of a result in Thursday’s capital derby, even especially considering their recent form.

Ange Postecoglou’s men are without a win in five Premier League games now, following Sunday’s thriller against Manchester City at the Etihad but Spurs can certainly count themselves unlucky for all those games.

Tottenham have performed admirably and stuck to their tactical guns despite their current injury crisis making this clash a pretty dangerous one for David Moyes and West Ham United.

The Hammers were pretty laboured and unimaginative against Crystal Palace on Sunday (3 December) continuing their worrying spate of lifeless displays in recent weeks.

If that continues into Thursday, then Moyes and his team have no chance of picking up anything from across London.

Fans are already growing restless over the kind of football being played under Moyes’ watch right now and a defeat to an injury-ridden Spus could spell further trouble for the Irons manager.

In other West Ham news, a first-team player may have a big decision to make with regards to his future in the coming weeks.
