Injury expert shares Brighton update ahead of Premier League fixture v West Ham United

Brighton and Hove Albion will be without three players for their Premier League clash against West Ham United, according to injury expert, Ben Dinnery.

Roberto De Zerbi will be without Jakub Moder, who is currently out with a long-term knee injury and won’t be available until next month (Premier injuries).

Levi Colwill will also be missing for the visit of the Hammers, with the former Chelsea youngster not expected to return until 11 March. Adam Lallana is also out with a serious thigh injury which could prevent the former Liverpool man from playing again this season.

Unhappy hunting ground

The Amex has never been a happy hunting ground for the Hammers, in fact playing Brighton in general has been a thankless task. West Ham have never beaten Brighton in a Premier League fixture, having lost five and drawn six of their eleven top-flight matches.

The FA Cup exit at the hands of Manchester United needs to be put to bed quickly. A domestic cup run was never a priority and now the Hammers’ attention must quickly turn to improving their Premier League position. Their previous outing against Nottingham Forest must be built on.

West Ham

A performance such as that had been a long time coming, but it will mean nothing unless Moyes’ side can pick up positive results against Brighton and Aston Villa.

West Ham head to the South Coast with a relatively clean bill of health, with Łukasz Fabiański the only player who has been “ruled out” of the fixture, Maxwel Cornet and Vladimir Coufal are in with a chance of making the squad.
