Graham Potter backed to land new job weeks after West Ham exit
Graham Potter may not be out of work for long, despite having been sacked from West Ham 16 days ago.
West Ham have had a miserable campaign so far, having picked up just four points from their first seven games of the Premier League season.
Some of the players need to take a look at themselves for the way they have been performing, though the majority of the blame lies with Potter.
Despite stripping the Irons of their identity, as well as doing the same in his previous job, the Englishman is already being lined up for a new role elsewhere.

Rangers urged to hire Graham Potter
Things are bad at West Ham, though Rangers have arguably had it far worse this season.
They’ve won just one of their first seven league games, which resulted in the sacking of former Southampton manager Russell Martin.
The likes of Steven Gerrard and Danny Rohl had been mooted for the role at Ibrox, but recent reports have seen Potter emerge as a potential candidate, despite the failures he showcased throughout his time at the London Stadium.
As a result, former Rangers midfielder Alex Rae has backed Potter for the job in Glasgow, and his reasoning will seem bizarre to anyone who watched his West Ham side.

As quoted by the Daily Record, Rae told PLZ Soccer: “Potter, potentially if he could reignite his early managerial form when he was in Sweden and Brighton.
“He was on the upward trajectory there, then he’s obviously had his tougher ones at Chelsea and West Ham.
“He potentially could be. I’m not overly enthused, but we don’t know the names that are putting themselves in the hat.”

Graham Potter’s record at West Ham speaks for itself
It was confusing when West Ham appointed Potter, given the failures he showcased throughout his time at Chelsea, so for anyone to be considering him after he replicated them at the London Stadium would be bizarre.
Especially Rangers, who are in need of significant improvement if they are to return to the summit of Scottish football.
In the 25 games he was in charge of, Potter won just six games at West Ham, averaging 0.92 points per game.
Over a full season, that would total less than 35 points, which would often get you relegated from the Premier League.
His reputation from Birhgton is still doing a lot of heavy lifting.
