Glen Johnson shares West Ham United relegation prediction in Premier League
Glen Johnson believes West Ham will “do enough” to avoid relegation from the Premier League this season.
The Hammers currently sit 14th in the table and are just three points off the bottom three in what has been a miserable season under manager David Moyes.
But former defender Johnson, who played for West Ham in the 2002/03 campaign, has predicted his old club to avoid the dreaded drop.

“I believe West Ham will do enough to stay out of danger,” Johnson told Betfred.
“I think Southampton are the clear favourites to go down and I believe Everton and Nottingham Forest will be relegated alongside them.”

Nervous times
West Ham will currently be focusing all their attention on their Europa Conference League quarter-final clash with Gent, but that dreamy scenario will quickly be forgotten about when the club return to league duty.
They are in Belgium for their first leg encounter with Gent on Thursday (13 April), but have a very tricky test against Arsenal waiting for them when they return home.
The Hammers host the league leaders at the London Stadium on Sunday (16 April), with much-needed points looking very unlikely to be taken from Mikel Arteta’s side.
A much more favourable meeting with fellow strugglers Bournemouth represents West Ham’s next league match after the Gunners test, with the trip to the Cherries later this month certain to have a major say in the final standings.
Unfortunately for David Moyes’s men, they must squeeze in a second leg test against Gent in between those two league tests, with the busy fixture list not working in West Ham’s favour right now.
In more positive news, there are several clubs around the Hammers who are extremely short of confidence and will also be fearing for their Premier League safety over the coming weeks.
