Gianluca Scamacca will now leave West Ham United, loan deal on the cards after European development
Inter Milan are following Gianluca Scamacca’s situation at West Ham “with interest,” according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The publication noted that the 24-year-old “will leave” the London outfit after just one season following his move from Sassuolo last summer.
La Gazzetta dello Sport added that Inter’s pursuit of the striker is dependent on Edin Dzeko’s future, with the Bosnian offered a deal by Fenerbahce.

“An idea that the Nerazzurri had also toyed with in the past is back in fashion: Gianluca Scamacca,” according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“The Roman centre-forward will leave West Ham and the London club has opened up the possibility of a loan.
“It’s a situation that Inter are following with interest, clearly linked to what will happen with Dzeko.”

Summer exit likely
Scamacca really didn’t have a good time of it in his first campaign in East London, with poor form and various injuries limiting the striker’s playing time on the pitch.
The Italian international netted just three goals from his 16 Premier League matches, adding three in the Europa Conference League and two in the qualifiers for that competition.
It is hardly the tally that manager David Moyes and indeed all Hammers fans envisioned when Scamacca made the move from Sassuolo for over £30million last summer.
Given those struggles, he seems likely to force through an exit from the London Stadium in the coming months, but his final destination remains unclear.
A return to Italy does, however, make sense, with the striker keen to impress with regular minutes on the pitch ahead of what will be a busy time for the Italian national team, who he will be wanting to play for in the upcoming major tournaments.
