Gianluca Scamacca due in London today to complete West Ham United transfer
Sassuolo forward Gianluca Scamacca is due in London on Monday (25th July) to complete his move to West Ham United, according to the Daily Mirror.
The newspaper has reported in its print edition [25 July, pg. 48] that the Italian international will complete his medical upon arrival with a deal now agreed.
The Irons will pay £35.5million in total, with £30.5million of that coming instantly up front with the rest covered by add-ons and bonuses.

Writing in his latest snippet for the newspaper, Ryan Taylor shared the news that will likely send a sigh of relief around east London, with a striker finally arriving.
“Gianluca Scamacca is due in London today to undergo a medical after West Ham struck a £35.5million deal with the Italian club Sassuolo for the striker,” he wrote.
“The Irons will pay an initial £30.5m plus £5m in add-ons for Scamacca, who had interested Paris Saint-Germain.”

Finally.
Forget Armando Broja, we are delighted to finally see a new striker coming through the door.
It’s been basically two years since Sebastien Haller left to join Ajax, and Scamacca will be the first new number nine to join the club since, and even the Ivorian has sealed another move since then.
Barring any late hitches, Scamacca will be pictured in claret and blue very soon, and have a couple of weeks to get used to his new surroundings before that Manchester City showdown.
David Moyes will be ecstatic to get his man, with numerous options having been on the table with a double deal for Filip Kostic also still on the cards.
West Ham United are finally building a squad packed with depth, and with other new faces likely to be targeted after this one is confirmed, there will no complaints from us.
All eyes are now on social media and flight trackers, this one is on the verge.
