Gianluca Scamacca close to agreeing personal terms with West Ham
Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca is close to agreeing personal terms with West Ham United, according to Claret and Hugh.
The Hammers have been in the market to sign players to bolster their attacking department and it was reported earlier that the fee between the clubs has been agreed.
As per the latest report, the player’s agent is still in discussion with the Irons to find the best possible deal for his client.

The report further stated that earlier a £50,000-a-week contract has been reported in the media for the player but there is still no outcome to those talks but the London-based club are hopeful of securing the deal in the coming days.
First-Team Striker
Once the move for Scamacca is completed, there won’t be any doubt about who is the number one man up front for West Ham next season.
Even though Michael Antonio still has certain qualities to trouble the opponents, his fitness concerns pushed the Hammers to look for alternatives.
As the Jamaica international had a hard time in keeping his fitness levels up last season, it presents Scamacca with the opportunity to make the forward position his own.

In the 2021-22 season with Sassuolo, the Italy international scored 16 goals in 36 appearances. He averaged 2.2 shots and had a pass completion rate of 74%. As a result of his performances, he won two man-of-the-match awards and had a rating of 6.82, according to Whoscored.
Those numbers must excite West Ham fans and they will be hoping that the 23-year-old will be able to produce a similar kind of performance at the London Stadium.
