Gabby Agbonlahor predicts West Ham United v Nottingham Forest in Premier League
Gabby Agbonlahor has heaped praise on the talent in the West Ham squad as he predicted they would beat Nottingham Forest 3-0 on Sunday 12 November.
The talkSPORT pundit claimed the Hammers have a “great” squad at their disposal, and forecasted a comfortable win for the home side if everything clicks for them.
Agbonlahor’s prediction has come amid a poor spell for the East London club after they have recorded just one win in their last six games prior to the Olympiacos clash when the prediction was made.
Speaking via talkSPORT [9 November], Agbonlahor laid out his predictions for the weekend’s fixtures, and he claimed: “Kicking off Sunday’s football is West Ham against Nottingham Forest. West Ham have got a very good team.
“If their players are on it – Ward-Prowse, Bowen, Antonio, you’ve got Benrahma, Kudus – they’ve got such a great team, West Ham. If they click, and I think they will against Forest, I can see them beating them comfortably.
“I’m actually going to go for a 3-0 win to West Ham.”
Strangely optimistic
Agbonalhor’s perspective on football as a whole is a confusing one. One week he’s bashing the squad, claiming they are not good enough and referring to them as simply a mid-table team [talkSPORT, 4 November], and the next he’s decided they’re all great.
He is right though, the quality in this Hammers squad should be more than enough to beat Forest, but recent results say otherwise. Losses in their last three Premier League games don’t show a team getting the best out of their talented individuals.

In fact, speculation over David Moyes’ future at the club has started to ramp up, such is the frustration with their current run of results and displays in East London.
Forest have been on a similarly poor run which could provide inspiration to a Hammers side looking to find their form, having won just once in their last seven games, and West Ham could view this as an opportunity to find their groove once again.
In other West Ham news, a star has claimed he is struggling to sleep after an incident v Brentford.
