Gabby Agbonlahor makes score prediction for West Ham clash v Everton in Premier League
Gabby Agbonlahor has predicted that West Ham United will make it four games without a win in all competitions when they face Everton on Sunday 29 October.
The former Aston Villa striker has predicted that Everton’s recent good form will pose some problems for David Moyes’ side making it a “tricky game” suggesting that it will be a 1-1 draw with both teams coming away with a point.
West Ham head into the clash with the Toffees off the back of a heavy defeat in the Premier League to Aston Villa and a disappointing display against Olympiacos in the Europa League and Agbonlahor believes that Sean Dyche’s side will only add to Moyes’ problems.
Speaking in his full Premier League prediction posted to talkSport’s Twitter (27 October) he said: “Kicking off Super Sunday, West Ham are taking on Everton.
“This is a tricky game for West Ham because Everton, you know they’ve managed to get some decent results in recent weeks, so I think this is a tricky game.
“I feel like Everton are on it, and playing on the counter-attack they can cause West Ham problems. I’m going to go with a 1-1 draw in this game.”
Time to bounce back
West Ham need to get back to winning ways after a miserable week at the London Stadium and on paper they should have more than enough to better Agbonlahor’s prediction and come away with all three points against the Toffees on Sunday.
Dyche’s side defended impressively against Liverpool last time out but failed to really lay a glove on Jurgen Klopp’s side going forward so Kurt Zouma and Nayef Aguerd should be able to contain the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, assuming they perform better than they did at Villa Park.

If the Irons have genuine ambitions of qualifying for Europe for a fourth successive time this season, then they have to be putting teams like Everton to bed fairly easily to keep pace with some of the league’s biggest sides. Both Arsenal and Liverpool have beaten Dyche’s side fairly comfortably.
For Moyes, pressure could begin to mount ever so slightly if the Hammers taste defeat once again as the Hammers’ recent form has tailed off massively compared to their excellent start to the campaign. A win against his former side would certainly help silence the minority of supporters calling for him to depart East London.
