Former West Ham defender Ryan Fredericks is set to join newly promoted Bournemouth
West Ham right-back Ryan Fredericks is closing in on a move to newly-promoted Bournemouth, as revealed by The Sun.
It had been reported by the Evening Standard on 20 May that Fredericks was being lined up by London rivals Fulham over a return to Craven Cottage.
However, The Sun revealed on Wednesday 15 June that the 29-year-old is closing in on a move to the south coast to join Scott Parker’s Bournemouth with his contract at the London Stadium expiring at the end of the month.

Fredericks is set to be released this summer after joining the Hammers in 2018 making 63 appearances.
Makes sense
Fredericks’ time at West Ham had reached its natural conclusion with the right-back certainly entering the latter stages of his career as he approaches 30.
A move back to Fulham appeared the obvious move for the defender but the potential pull of working with Parker could well have been a deciding factor.
David Moyes moving on some of the older heads in his West Ham squad is a good sign.
Hopefully, it is a sign that the West Ham boss is eager to add some much-needed quality and depth into his squad.

Moyes is certainly taking his time to get the Irons summer business underway with other clubs getting their business done early.
It is crucial that Moyes gets the ball rolling soon on the transfer front.
Hammers’ fans are expecting a huge overhaul of players to turn the Irons into consistent top-six contenders.
It would be criminal if the Irons don’t build off the excellent platform they’ve given themselves in recent years.
In other West Ham news, the Irons have been offered the chance to sign this £12.8million goal machine after his club was relegated.
