Filip Kostic is in two minds about making West Ham United move
West Ham are prepared to meet Eintracht Frankfurt’s £16m asking price to sign Filip Kostic this summer, but they are facing an uphill battle.
TalkSport journalist Alex Crook reported on 30 July that Kostic, who starred in Frankfurt’s Europa League winning campaign last season, is in two minds about making the move.
Kostic shares the same agent as summer signing Gianluca Scamacca and the Hammers are hoping that he can be the “trump card” in brokering the deal.

Hanging in balance
German media outlet Bild reported on 29 July that Kostic has no intentions of throwing away Champions League football at the moment.
If he were to move to London, his preferred destination is Chelsea.
If that’s the case, there’s no point hanging around, as it would be really difficult for the Hammers to lure him away from the German club.
Instead, David Moyes must turn attention elsewhere.

Bolstering the left-back is a priority for Moyes, but he is looking at someone who can also play in the left wing if needed. That’s why they are so keen on Kostic.
West Ham, anyway, are looking to get rid of Arthur Masuaku, and the club are keen to bring a quality player in that department.
Ryan Taylor, the Daily Express journalist wrote on Twitter on 29 July that Masuaku is in talks with Besiktas to secure a loan move.
It seems the Hammers will make one last concrete attempt to persuade him to move to the London Stadium, but the situation is far from ideal.
