Felipe Anderson flies back to London with rest of West Ham squad

West Ham United got their pre-season underway this week in Scotland, and ended the trip with a 2-2 draw against Dundee.

Despite strong exit speculation, Felipe Anderson was named on the bench for the clash, but didn’t end up featuring.

Lazio look set to confirm the signing of the Brazilian this week, but no progress looks to have been made given his appearance at the stadium.

Football London journalist Tom Clark has shared the latest update on the situation, as the trip to Scotland came to an end last night.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, it was shared whether or not Anderson stayed with the entire squad.

“He will fly back with the rest of the squad to London at 5 pm,” he said.

“He did not leave the stadium during the game, just went to shower then returned for the remainder of the second half.”

Mixed signals.

Does David Moyes even know what is happening right now?

It appears unlikely, given that Anderson completed the full week of training in Scotland and was even included in the squad yesterday.

The South American missing out after a chat with the fitness coach at half-time, may show that he doesn’t want any injuries that could halt this supposed move back to Italy.

It has been reported by Lazio News 24 this week that Anderson’s medical is scheduled for today, and the move could be completed as early as tomorrow.

Given that, it seems a surprise that he jetted back to London with the rest of the squad, and it could be a busy Saturday for him given that.
