Felipe Anderson clears up reported West Ham exit hint amid Lazio rumours

West Ham United winger Felipe Anderson has been linked with a move to Lazio, with Sky Sports Italia claiming he dropped a hint confirming an imminent exit.

The Italian news outlet reported on their website that the Brazilian has confirmed through his private Facebook account that his return to the Serie A outfit is almost done.

However, Anderson has taken to his personal Twitter account to clear things up, insisting that he does not have a private Facebook account.

Still going!

Understandably, the West Ham man is not willing to give anything away as he is still under contract with us, and nobody knows for sure if the Facebook profile is his or not.

The 28-year-old is currently in Scotland with the rest of the squad available for pre-season training, but it appears he is all set to leave the London Stadium this summer.

Anderson is clearly not in manager David Moyes’ plans, and did not do anything while on loan at Porto last season to boost his chances of securing a future with the Hammers.

The 28-year-old has been linked with a return to Lazio where he joined from in the summer of 2018, and we reckon a move is on the cards sooner or later.

It remains to be seen whether West Ham can get a decent fee for him, but it has been reported that he would be allowed to leave for nothing, with a sell-on clause included in a potential deal [Fabrizio Romano], and hopefully, that would fetch us something in the near future.

Anderson’s time with us has been disappointing despite that impressive debut campaign, and we cannot point out exactly what went wrong.
