‘False information’ – PAI Capital chief breaks silence on West Ham takeover
PAI Capital managing partner Nasib Piriyev has stated that the consortium remains committed to the takeover of West Ham.
He has also hit out at allegations that they are not serious about going ahead with the deal.
Piriyev also insisted that proof of funds had been provided when they made their proposal six months ago and claimed that West Ham gave the consortium full access to their business data for two months.

He was quoted by Independent as saying, “If Mr Sullivan does not agree to our offer price, he has the full right to do so because the shares are his private property.
“Although I do believe any owner of a Premier League club and a brand of West Ham’s calibre must also feel a duty to the community and fans – but what he cannot do is simply say that we are not serious.
“That is false information, but we are not going to fall for this move and do not want to escalate any conflict. With all respect to Mr Sullivan, we will continue pursuing this opportunity and make our best efforts to get him to agree to our offer and sell his controlling stake of the club.”
Need them to sell
PAI seem fully committed to buying the club and it looks they’ve got good things planned in the future.
David Gold and David Sullivan have been two extremely unpopular joint-owners of the club and we cannot wait to see them going and new ownership come in as West Ham is a club with such a high potential which isn’t being fulfilled because of no proper planning right from the top.

Moving to the Olympic Stadium from Upton Park is probably what escalated the hatred between fans and the owners and wouldn’t it have been for last season, there would surely be protests planned at the start of the coming campaign.
Currently, they’re firm in their stance that they do not plan to sell the club, but we’re hoping that with fan pressure and persistence from PAI that they finally decide to let go and cash in.
We’re following these developments curiously and are extremely keen to see where this story goes in the future.
