Fabrizio Romano shares Declan Rice transfer news after West Ham United update
West Ham United will consider the future of captain Declan Rice in the coming months and expect to receive “big proposals” in the summer, Fabrizio Romano reports.

Despite the ongoing transfer saga surrounding the English international, he will look to help West Ham get back to winning ways in the Premier League against Brentford on Friday (30 December).

Hammers manager David Moyes shut down any chance of the midfielder leaving the London Stadium in the upcoming January transfer window, according to transfer guru Romano.
He tweeted: “David Moyes: There’ll be no chance Declan Rice leaves in this window, no way. Impossible.
“West Ham will consider Rice future in the next months as expectation is for big proposals to arrive in the summer.”
No surprise
The news that “big proposals” are around the corner for Rice will not shock any West Ham United fans, as the feeling around the club is that many are resigned to the fact he will leave in the near future.
Unfortunately, the riches that top-six clubs can offer players of Rice’s ilk sometimes prove too hard to ignore.
Aston Villa had to part ways with Jack Grealish when Manchester City waved a £100million bid in their face, while Brighton were almost forced to release manager Graham Potter after Chelsea came hunting for the Englishman.
The one positive note to take for the Hammers is that the midfielder will remain at the club for the rest of the season.
With the Hammers sitting just a point above the relegation zone following their Boxing Day loss to Wolves, every ounce of Rice’s class will need to be extracted to pull West Ham away from their current predicament.
